Descrição
This healing retreat at Drala Mountain Center in Red Feather Lakes, Colorado, offers a weekend introduction to Tse Dup Yang Bod, an ancient Tibetan Bön longevity and soul healing practice. Led by Tania Smith (Lopon Lumo Woekar) and Rob Dube, it brings together meditation, mantra, healing practices and long periods of stillness. It is open to beginners and experienced practitioners alike, and suits anyone who feels their energy has been worn down by stress, illness or the pace of modern life.
What to Expect
The weekend runs from a Friday afternoon arrival to a Sunday departure at 12:30 PM, with check-in between 2:00 and 5:00 PM. Each day has its own focus.
Friday opens with a session on ancient wisdom for modern living. You learn how the Bön tradition understands depleted vital energy, where vitality comes from, and how Tse Dup and the Heart Mantras are used to restore balance, resilience and flow.
Saturday is devoted to Tse Dup Tibetan soul healing. Dating to the 7th century, the practice works with the five elemental energies of Earth, Water, Fire, Wind and Space. You are guided through a foundational meditation and the Long Life Mantra. In the evening comes a Tse Dup healing ceremony, held by candlelight in the traditional Tibetan way, with drumming, mantras, invocations to the five elements and energetic blessing.
Sunday turns to the Tibetan Heart Mantras, described as the vibrational essence of enlightenment. You are taught how to chant and work with them, and the morning closes with integration before departure.
Across the weekend the practices include guided meditations and inner journeys, energy practices for strengthening the life force, and ritual and transmission rooted in Tibetan lineage.
