Question 1

What is the 50-Hour The Business of Yoga training at Suryalila about?

Accepted Answer

It is a 50-hour training led by Irene Alda, focused on the business side of yoga rather than asana practice itself. It is listed on Suryalila's retreat calendar as a training. The organizer's page does not publish a detailed syllabus, so check the Schedule tab or contact Suryalila for the module breakdown.

Question 2

Who is Irene Alda, the teacher leading this training?

Accepted Answer

Irene Alda is the facilitator named by Suryalila for The Business of Yoga. The organizer's page does not give a biography or list her credentials, so for details on her background and teaching approach, ask Suryalila directly before booking.

Question 3

Where does the training take place and what is the setting like?

Accepted Answer

It is held at Suryalila Retreat Centre in Villamartín, in the province of Cádiz, Spain. The training runs as a residential retreat-style programme at the centre. Accommodation options and room types are listed under the Costs tab on the organizer's page.

Question 4

How long is the training, and does it run over a full week?

Accepted Answer

The training spans one week, from 20 March to 27 March 2027, covering 50 contact hours. The daily timetable is on the Schedule tab of the Suryalila page, so check it for session times and breaks.

Question 5

How much does it cost and what does the price include?

Accepted Answer

Prices are set out under the Costs tab on Suryalila's event page, where they are tied to the accommodation option you choose. I can't confirm exact figures or inclusions such as meals here, so check that tab or ask Suryalila before booking.

Question 6

How do I book a place on The Business of Yoga?

Accepted Answer

Booking goes through Suryalila Retreat Centre, which has a Book tab on the event page. Select your dates and accommodation there to reserve. For questions on deposits or cancellation terms, contact the centre directly.

Question 7

Who is this training best suited to, and who might it not suit?

Accepted Answer

It suits yoga teachers, and those aspiring to teach, who want to turn their practice into a sustainable livelihood, such as by running classes, workshops or retreats. It is probably not the right fit if you want a deepening of your personal asana practice or a teacher certification in postures and anatomy, since the focus is business.
