Ananda Devi & Shiva Das teach wellness internationally, sharing ancient practices for living a happier, more meaningful life. Through music, movement and mindfulness, they offer tools to elevate your life. They present Bhakti Yoga workshops and Mantra Music Kirtan at conferences, festivals and transformational retreats around the world, including Bhakti Fest in Joshua Tree, California, the Hanuman Temple Inauguration in Taos, New Mexico, and biohacking conferences. Their blend of traditional Sanskrit and modern melodies is meant to lead listeners straight to the heart. Their debut album is called "Offering".
Ananda Devi found yoga at the age of 12 and has been studying ever since. She describes her offerings as the result of deep gratitude and the grace of her teachers. Her training includes a 200-hour yoga teacher training and a 300-hour yoga philosophy training (2017), Reiki Level I and II certification, Bhakti Kirtan training (2018) and Qi Gong certification (2019). She has taught at retreats in Nayarit, Mexico, and in Bali, Indonesia. Her mission is to encourage everyone to live to their most joyful potential by experiencing the unity of mind, body and spirit.
Shiva Das began deepening his studies in 2010, starting with yoga and Buddhist meditation. He went on to explore Shamanism, Taoism and Indigenous ways of being, completing a 400-hour shamanic apprenticeship (2014-2017), a 200-hour yoga teacher training (2018), Bhakti Kirtan training (2018) and Qi Gong certification (2019). Discovering the teachings of Ram Dass and Kirtan, he says, continued to open his heart. He also works in sculpture, painting, writing and jewelry, and his fine art is represented by galleries in Los Angeles, New York and Tokyo.
Together they offer Kirtan, group singing, yoga and movement, mantra and mudra meditation, and cacao ceremony, along with immersions and healing retreats. Ananda Devi also gives one-on-one lessons in voice, harmonium and guitar. They acknowledge and deeply honor the teachers who walked these paths before them.
