Aurora Spirit Retreat 2027

The Aurora Spirit Retreat gathers participants in Finnish Lapland during Arctic spring to engage with the Northern Lights through music, ancestral voice techniques, and deep ecological immersion. Led by Curawaka alongside Nordic mystics and indigenous Sami teachers, the week weaves vocal exploration with shamanic practice and land-based ritual. The retreat combines transformational workshops in voice and creative expression with access to Aito Resort's wellness facilities, all situated within pristine Arctic wilderness. Rather than prescriptive instruction, the program emphasizes authentic self-expression, playfulness, and the therapeutic properties of sound as a means of connection to place, spirit, and community. Participants work with breathing, rhythm, melody, and what facilitators call the art of channeling, exploring voice as both personal medicine and collective offering.
