Where to Start with Mimi Page: A Beginner's Guide

The Best Entry Point: Sound Healing, Vol. 2: Infinite Peace

Start with Sound Healing, Vol. 2: Infinite Peace (2026), her most recent album. It runs five tracks, so it's a short commitment, and it distills what Mimi Page does best: piano-driven, atmospheric soundscapes, layered vocals, and generous reverb and delay, all aimed at a specific purpose, which is calming the nervous system. Her bio describes her sound healing meditations as intended to support relaxation and ease anxiety, and this album is the clearest, most current expression of that.

Listen to it once straight through with no multitasking. Headphones help, because much of the work is in the layering and space.

The Next Three Places to Go

**1. Welcome To My World (Remixed) (2025).** This 11-track album is the natural second step. Where Infinite Peace is functional and meditative, this one shows her as a songwriter and producer working with shape and momentum. If you want a smaller bite first, Welcome To My World (Remixed: Part 1), a five-track single from April 2025, is the preview.

**2. Model Kollapse (2024).** Another 11-track album, and a good test of how her sensibility holds up outside of explicitly meditative material. It's a useful way to hear the cinematic and electronic side of her production.

3. The DJ mix appearances. She turns up on Anjunadeep Essentials 02 (DJ Mix) and Group Therapy 581 (DJ Mix), both from 2024. These are long compilations (50 and 36 tracks), so treat them as context, not core listening. They show how her voice and atmosphere fit into the world of electronic dance music, which connects to her collaborations with Bassnectar, Seven Lions and Delerium.

What to Expect on a First Encounter

Expect slowness and space. Her music is built from piano, voice, and processing. Vocals are layered and washed in reverb, so lyrics often function as texture more than narrative. Expect a cinematic quality, which makes sense given that her work has appeared in network television, film scores, and games such as Sword Coast Legends and Fallout 4's Far Harbor expansion. The music tends to feel like a place more than a statement.

Don't expect hooks in the pop sense, especially on the sound healing material. Tracks unfold; they don't announce themselves.

Common Beginner Misunderstandings

Treating it as background music only. It can work that way, but you'll miss the craft, particularly the vocal layering, if you never listen closely.

Assuming it's all one thing. She's a singer-songwriter, a composer, and a sound healer. The sound healing albums and the more produced, electronic-leaning records serve different purposes, and judging one by the other's standards leads to frustration.

Expecting clinical claims. The sound healing work is offered to support relaxation and ease anxiety. Approach it as a calming practice and a listening experience, not a substitute for professional care.

Dismissing the ethereal as "just pretty." The processing, with reverb, delay and layering shaped in post-production, is deliberate composition, learned through formal study in composition, electronic music, and recording engineering.

When This Work Lands Hardest

This music tends to land hardest in transitional or taxing stretches: periods of high stress, trouble winding down at night, creative work that needs a steady atmosphere, or moments when you're overstimulated and want less input, not more. It also suits people who love film and game scores and want something with that emotional scale but without the plot. If you're in a loud, busy season, the contrast is part of the appeal.

A One-Week Starter Plan

Day 1: Play Sound Healing, Vol. 2: Infinite Peace start to finish, with headphones, lights low, no phone.

Day 2: Repeat it, this time in the evening as a wind-down. Notice what changes when you know where the tracks go.

Day 3: Listen to Welcome To My World (Remixed: Part 1). Pay attention to how the voice is layered.

Day 4: Play the full Welcome To My World (Remixed) while doing something light, like walking or tidying.

Day 5: Put on Model Kollapse and listen actively, as you would a film score.

Day 6: Sample the DJ mixes, Anjunadeep Essentials 02 or Group Therapy 581, and listen for where her contribution sits among the other artists.

Day 7: Return to Infinite Peace. Compare how it feels now to Day 1, and decide which record you'll keep in rotation.
