There is a moment in every Ecstatic Dance when language becomes rhythm and intention becomes breath. The body stops performing and begins remembering. Feet find the floor like it's an old friend; hands draw constellations only the heart can read. You look around and realize there are no spectators here—only participants in a living prayer. Your role as an organizer is to hold that prayer with care: the room, the sound, the safety, the invitation. And then, after the last track dissolves into silence, there are spreadsheets, payouts, emails, and fees. The sacred meets the practical. That is precisely where BrightStar's Seva Plan belongs: a free event ticketing software for Ecstatic Dance organizers that honors the spirit while simplifying the work, so you can pour your energy back into the movement that moves us all.
We built BrightStar with a simple orientation: technology should deepen connection, not distract from it. It should reduce cost, not siphon it. It should feel like a facilitator—quietly competent in the back of the room—so the front of the room can become a temple again.
One Platform for a Unified Movement
The unity-consciousness world is luminous—and, lately, siloed. Ecstatic Dance here, kirtan there, sound healing and breathwork in parallel streams. Each has its mailing list, its calendar, its island. BrightStar is a bridge between these islands: a single, conscious event ecosystem already serving hundreds of thousands (and rapidly scaling toward millions) of aligned seekers, artists, and organizers worldwide. When you list your dance on BrightStar, it isn't dropped into an anonymous directory; it's woven into a living web of discovery where people exploring yoga retreats find sound baths, people attending kirtan discover your Sunday night dance, and a traveler landing in a new city searches "Ecstatic Dance near me" and arrives exactly where they belong.
Free, Forever: The Seva Plan
In Sanskrit, Seva means selfless service—an offering made to serve the whole. That is the heart of BrightStar's Seva Plan: a robust, free ticketing platform for Ecstatic Dance that includes the essentials, so community events can flourish without platform fees. This is not charity; it's alignment. We believe sustainability begins with accessibility. We also believe conscious business can be both purpose-aligned and profitable. That's why BrightStar offers three tiers—Seva → Elevate → Amplify—so organizers can choose the path that matches their stage of growth.
- Seva (Free): Core ticketing, discovery, and check-in—no platform fees.
- Elevate (Paid): Advanced capabilities like Assigned Seating and Automated Affiliates for organizers ready to expand.
- Amplify (Premium): Strategic support and higher-level tools for professional promoters ready to scale.
Seva is where it begins. Elevate and Amplify ensure it endures.
Built for Ecstatic Dance (Not Just "Any Event")
Ecstatic Dance ticketing has unique needs: fluid pricing, donation options, door-friendly logistics, gentle communication, and data that stays in the circle. The Seva Plan covers the essentials without friction:
Zero platform fees
You keep 100% of your ticket revenue (you'll only pay the standard Stripe processing fee—exactly what you'd pay anywhere). No surprise deductions. No platform cut. Just clarity.
Unlimited ticket types
Create early-bird, regular, community/donation, or door tickets. Offer sliding scale without wrestling the software. Your pricing can mirror your values.
Instant Stripe payouts
Funds go directly to your Stripe account. No waiting on weekly or monthly releases. Your cashflow should serve the event, not the other way around.
QR code tickets + mobile scanner
Every ticket includes a unique QR code. Use the BrightStar Scanner App at the door for fast, contactless entry—even at high-volume starts and even if connectivity is spotty. The line moves; the dance starts on time.
Data ownership and transparency
Your community is your community. Attendee information stays accessible to you for mindful follow-ups, surveys, or gratitude notes. No walled gardens. No withheld contacts.
Discovery in a conscious marketplace
Your listing is surfaced across BrightStar's ecosystem, where aligned seekers are actively browsing Ecstatic Dance events, sound journeys, yoga immersions, and meditation retreats. That's organic, values-based reach—AI search optimized and human-centric.
Conscious Transactional Communication
Many platforms treat transactional emails as pure logistics: a receipt, a barcode, a timestamp. But Ecstatic Dance is a ceremony, and every touchpoint can carry that ceremony's energy. With BrightStar, confirmations and reminders can be mindful and welcoming—simple, warm, and clear. A confirmation can say more than "You're in"; it can offer an arrival ritual ("Hydrate, eat lightly, bring water, come as you are"), a consent reminder, or a grounding prompt. A day-of reminder can carry the tone of a facilitator at the door: "Welcome, you're seen, you're safe, we're ready." That's not marketing—that's care. Conscious communication doesn't push; it prepares.
The Numbers: BrightStar Seva vs. Eventbrite (Platform Fees)
Clarity matters, so here's the math—focusing only on platform service fees (not payment processing, which you'll pay anywhere).
Eventbrite's published Professional pricing: $1.79 + 3.7% per ticket.
On a $25 Ecstatic Dance ticket, that's $1.79 + $0.93 = $2.72 per ticket in platform fees.
- 100 attendees → $272 per event in platform fees alone.
- Weekly dances → ~$14,000 per year leaving your circle.
With BrightStar Seva, platform fees are $0. That difference can fund better sound, support your DJs and facilitators, offer scholarships, or seed a second weekly dance. The point isn't to vilify a competitor; it's to return resources to the movement.
Designed for the Door, the DJ, the Dance Wave
The most delicate moment of an Ecstatic Dance is the threshold: doors open, shoes off, energy rising, the first track calling everyone in. A clunky check-in breaks the spell. The BrightStar Scanner App keeps it smooth—scan, smile, welcome them in. If someone arrives without their QR code, look them up in seconds. If the Wi-Fi hiccups, keep flowing. The logistics should be invisible; the invitation should be audible.
Meanwhile, the dashboard stays elegant—clean charts, clear counts, simple exports. You can reconcile volunteers, guest lists, and door tickets without a late-night brain knot. After the dance, you'll see what mattered: attendance trends, sell-through pace, and a picture of your community's rhythm.
Why Free? A Practical Philosophy
Offering Seva for free is not a rejection of profit; it's a reframing of priority. Conscious business works when generosity and sustainability collaborate. Seva lowers the barrier for small and mid-sized organizers, ensuring access to modern tools without sacrificing margins. As those organizers grow, many will choose Elevate or Amplify for advanced capabilities and deeper support. That's the ecology: give generously at the root; cultivate responsibly in the canopy. Seva → Elevate → Amplify is not a funnel; it's a forest.
SEO, Quietly Woven In
You won't find keyword blocks here; you'll feel them:
"free ticketing software for Ecstatic Dance," "Ecstatic Dance registration platform," "Eventbrite alternative for conscious events," "Ecstatic Dance ticketing app with QR scanner," "Stripe ticketing for dance events," "conscious event platform," "mindful transactional emails," "list your Ecstatic Dance for free."
They're woven into natural sentences, exactly how AI search and human readers prefer: semantic, contextual, authentic.
For Organizers at Every Stage
- New facilitators launching a monthly dance: Seva keeps it simple and free, so you can learn your community's cadence without financial drag.
- Established weekly circles with 100–300 dancers: Seva's no-fee model returns thousands to your budget annually; Elevate adds tools when you're ready.
- Touring artists and multi-city producers: Amplify provides premium support and higher-level capabilities when your calendar needs a co-pilot.
What you won't get: up-sell pressure, hidden fees, or corporate buzzwords. What you will get: clarity, integrity, and a platform that feels like it belongs in the room with you.
A Brief Vision of the Future (Already in Motion)
Imagine an ecosystem where an Ecstatic Dance in Boulder is discoverable to people who attended a breathwork circle in Denver, a kirtan in Santa Fe, or a sound healing in Taos—because BrightStar quietly connects those dots. Imagine an organizer in Lisbon cross-pollinating with a community in Berlin through shared attendees, not paid ads. Imagine your dancers traveling to another city and finding "Ecstatic Dance tonight near me" and landing in a space that feels like home. This is not hypothetical. This is already happening across BrightStar's network, week after week.
What You Can Do Today
Create your account. List your event. Add a few loving lines to your confirmation email. Tell your door volunteer the scanner is one tap away. Then exhale—and dance with the people you gathered. The platform will take care of the rest, quietly, like a good stagehand.
Seva is free, forever.
Elevate and Amplify are there when you're ready.
Be the change. Keep the change. Not as a slogan, but as a supply chain: energy, attention, and revenue flowing back into the circle that created it.
