Alewah Sound

Alewah Sound is the healing practice of Sarah Myles, an ICRT-certified Reiki Master, ICRT-certified Karuna Reiki Master and certified Sound Healer based in Wake Forest, North Carolina. She combines reiki and sound in sessions meant to keep our energy free-flowing and adaptable. She works closely with the elements of nature, with body, mind and soul, and with what she calls the central Source and Oneness of all creation. Her mission is to help people discover the power already within them.

Sarah came to Reiki while writing a fantasy novel, when the idea of channeling energy through the hands caught her interest. She chose to train through the ICRT, received her level 1 and 2 training in 2016, and went on to become a Reiki Master and Karuna Reiki Master with her teacher that same year. She began practicing with clients and in daily life soon after.

She spent time in a healing circle called Stars Healing Circle, where she learned the value of working alongside other healers. There she studied dowsing with a member of the Lumbee tribe, learning to clear nonbeneficial energy by infusing it with Light, a process she finds very similar to Reiki. She has also accompanied clients whose souls are transitioning, which she describes as an honor.

Sarah says that hardship shaped her path into healing, and that her own journey, including a natural birth in 2021, deepened her respect for the body's power.
